Canterbury Group: Confronting the Inevitable!

24 November 2025 @ 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm

£5.00

We invite you to join a special session focused on practical approaches to preparing for our eventual departure from this world. This session will be led by Lina Newstead, a respected yoga teacher known for her extensive work in facilitating Death Cafes and leading online yoga teacher training centred on the topic of death.

Lina is passionate about encouraging open dialogue on this often-taboo subject, believing that everyone should thoughtfully consider both the practical and spiritual aspects surrounding death. She draws an analogy to traveling to an unfamiliar destination—just as one would research and prepare for a journey, so too should we prepare for this inevitable transition.

Lina notes that, contrary to common expectation, conversations about death can be uplifting and positive. Many participants find that engaging with the topic leads to a deeper appreciation of the present moment and a renewed zest for life.

Please be advised: This session will include discussions of sensitive topics. If you have been recently bereaved or have received a terminal diagnosis and do not feel ready to explore this subject, you may wish to consider whether this session is appropriate for you at this time.

We look forward to an open, respectful, and enriching conversation.

We will send the zoom link to you the day before once you have booked a place.
Cost is £5.00
