Wednesday, September 23 | 6:00 PM - 7:30 PM
Come for a Nature connection Forage walk with Jo Barker and learn not only how to eat but how to utilise our gardens for medicine and all our needs reconnecting to our ancient ancestors' way of life.
Jo starts with deepening our connection with the land with gentle somatic embodied nature connection activities that you can do in your own garden. We will find an abundance of edible plants. Autumn Equinox is the most abundant food time of the year as the plants naturally prepare our bodies for winter! We will end with a garden foraged tea.
Jo holds the ‘unofficial’ (and uncontested) record for the most foraged ingredients in a salad.
Jo has been designing Permacultural food forests and Healing gardens for over 30 years and knows how to eat almost everything. Many of her gardens have won Wildlife awards.
