London: Alexander Technique Taster Workshop with Caroline Dale

14 October @ 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm

£15 – £20

Would you like to get rid of your aches and pains? Would you like to move more easily?

We invite you to join us for a special Alexander Technique Taster Workshop and Q&A which could change your life. Find out how this long-proven and highly regarded technique can relieve your stress and tension and enable to move like you remember doing before it became so difficult.

'People do not decide their futures. They decide their habits and their habits decide their futures'. - F M Alexander

Our bodies are shaped by our habits. Our conscious (and unconscious) habits can be at the root of many of our unwanted difficulties. Stress, tension, pain and injury can be the result of repetitive physical and mental patterns that have developed over many years without us realising it. The Alexander Technique is an educational and practical tool for managing and changing our problematic habits.

Caroline Dale has been an Alexander teacher for 19 years. During the talk, she will discuss and demonstrate the principles underlying the success of the Alexander Technique in improving people’s lives over more than 100 years. You will have a chance to understand the principles as to how and why The Alexander Technique has enabled so many millions of people to lead more healthy and fulfilling lives.

To gain relief from chronic backache or to change a postural habit that started at school or earlier on can transform your life and your future in ways you will always be grateful for.

“Thank you, Caroline. I hadn’t realised when I started learning Alexander Technique that it would be such a useful part of my toolbox of litigation skills!”

– C H (Barrister)

Caroline Dale has been teaching the Alexander Technique for 19 years with private practices in Central and North London. We are enhancing this event with a networking opportunity in a café nearby. We will meet at 4.30 pm and you will have the chance for a networking conversation with Conscious Cafe people. We will also go out together after the event for a drink or a snack so that we can continue the conversation afterwards. Please email if you would like to come to the early networking event and/or the supper afterwards, and we will let you know where we are meeting.
